Through our partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago (BBBSMC), we match young men with dedicated mentors who provide consistent guidance, academic support, and positive role modeling.

TOMMY WASHINGTON TRADE SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP

The Tommy Washington Trade School Scholarship helps young men pursue careers in skilled trades by providing financial support toward vocational & technical education.
This scholarship honors the legacy of Tommy Washington, a passionate advocate for workforce readiness and self-sufficiency in urban communities.

Eligibility Criteria:

Must be a high school senior or recent graduate.


Resident of Chicago or surrounding areas.

 

Planning to enroll in an accredited trade or vocational program.

Application Timeline:

Applications Open: March 1


Deadline: May 15


Awards Announced: June (at the Father’s Day Picnic)
